What We Do

AGRA is composed entirely of local residents working on a voluntary basis to look after the interests of the residents in the village and to preserve and enhance the rural amenities and characteristics of the area.

We work for improved conditions in the village of Ash Green by contact with Local Authorities and other bodies upon whom the general well-being of the village depends.

We encourage and further the ideal of service within the community.

What We Don't Do

Please note that AGRA does not mediate neighbour disputes however we may be able to direct you to relevant sources of information.

Get Involved!

The AGRA constitution allows for a 12 person committee and we have two vacancies. If you would like to join we will be more than happy to accept more volunteers.

We have been working on many fronts with regard to fighting the planning applications and in other areas (see the Community News Page) and currently we meet about once a month at a committee members house. These evenings are generally quite social and we’ve all met and made new friendships as a result of the work we do.
